Company History
Building on a Foundation of Excellence
Translation Station was founded in 1998 by Phyllis Stallman, a lifelong xenophile with a passion for bridging language barriers. From the beginning, Phyllis believed that language access is about more than communication; it’s a matter of dignity, especially for Atlanta’s then-growing immigrant and refugee communities. With kindness and competency as her guiding principles, she built a trusted, woman-owned company that earned the loyalty of interpreters and the confidence of clients across sectors.

In 2018, Lindsey Cambardella became CEO, continuing the legacy with a focus on growth, innovation, and integrity. Under her leadership, Translation Station has expanded its reach while staying true to its founding values. Today, we remain a go-to partner for healthcare systems, government agencies, schools, and organizations that depend on reliable, culturally competent language support.
As a privately owned company – with no outside investors, corporate ownership, or private equity – we have the freedom to prioritize service over profit. That independence allows us to stay mission-driven, client-focused, and uncompromising in our commitment to quality. More than 25 years later, our philosophy remains the same: Kindness. Competency.

What Our Customers Say
"I work for a law firm and we use Translation Station for depositions. Everyone is so nice and very helpful! Sometimes we have last minute scheduling changes or last minute requests and Translation Station is always so accommodating."
"I had a great experience translating my High School and University diplomas to English. Cintye Montejo was my project manager, and she was there for me though the whole process. It was quick, professional, and affordable. The best part that Translation Station will notarize your translation, send you PDF version, along with physical copy. I hope to go back to school and that is exactly what I needed. Thank you for a pleasant experience."
"I've worked with a Hakka Chin interpreter for years from translation station and she has the highest integrity and does a fabulous job. Love translation station and how responsive they are. Their interpreters are very professional. Would not hesitate to use them again."
"Translation Station in general and Cintye Montejo in particular impressed me with their professionalism, efficiency and speed. I would recommend them in a heart beat."
"Translation station goes above and beyond to help me translate my documents into Chinese and get notarized. They not only revise based on my review, but also willing to quickly turn around with the corrections. Their team is very patient with me, and also give me tips on various things related to notarizations. The whole process is quick and easy, and I am able to get the translation apostille done with no issues in the gsccca, with the copy they provide to me. Highly recommended!"
